Spreading CNGR Culture and Displaying Brand Image

CNGR Cooperates with PT PLN to Promote the use of Green New Energy

  On June 6th 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Provision of 80MVA Electric Power between CNGR Hong Kong Material Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (CNGR) and PT PLN (Persero) was signed. The electricity will be used to support the development of CNGR Indonesia Industrial Park in which PLN will supply the sources through New and Renewable Energy sources using the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) scheme. Mr Tao Wu, the President of CNGR International Headquarters, attended and signed the MoU on behalf of the company.


  At the signing ceremony, Sigit Wicaksono, PLN’s Executive Vice President of Sumatra and Kalimantan retail, said: “Indonesia is a country with rich renewable energy sources such as hydroelectricity, wind power, and natural gas. PLN will provide CNGR with environmentally friendly, efficient and clean power. PLN will also support the needs of CNGR’s development in Indonesia, and work with CNGR to promote Indonesia’s local economic and social development.”

  Tao Wu said that the Industrial base project in Indonesia is currently under rapid construction.  CNGR hopes to help move the wheels of economy through infrastructure development in electricity, mining, industrialization and other sectors. CNGR also expects their collaboration with PLN to accelerate the transformation from fossil energy usage into new and renewable energy. This is aligned with CNGR's vision, "to be the most valuable comprehensive Service Provider of new energy materials in the world" and CNGR's mission, "Devoted to the development of new energy, constructing a better life for human beings".
  Currently, CNGR is building a nickel smelter plant consisting of 6 production lines with 60,000 tons/year capacity in Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) area and will start commissioning this year. In addition, CNGR will also build a nickel smelter plant in Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) area consisting of 12 production lines with a total capacity of 120,000 tons/year.
  Whether in enterprise operation or cultural basis, CNGR always adheres to the development of pollution-free, sustainable, high-efficiency, low-cost green energy. CNGR has been pursuing international high standard ESG and sustainable development as a highly responsible enterprise.
  The successful signing marks a new stage in CNGR's project construction development in Indonesia. It is also a perfect interpretation of CNGR's core value. CNGR will establish a partnership with PT PLN for win-win cooperation in the future.
