These initiatives, combining “cultural inclusion + community care”, have strengthened CNGR’s localization efforts in Indonesia. Spanning across CNGR Indonesia’s Jakarta headquarters and major sites, the events benefited hundreds of local employees and over 170 households, delivering festive warmth and heartfelt care.
Jakarta Headquarters: ‘Nezha’ Screening Sparks Cultural Resonance
On March 21, CNGR’s Jakarta headquarters hosted a “China-Indonesia Cultural Exchange” Movie Day, where nearly 100 Chinese and Indonesian employees gathered to watch the globally acclaimed Chinese animated film Ne Zha. The event used cinema as a cultural bridge, enabling employees to appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese culture while discussing shared values, further fostering interpersonal connections. Special Eid gift boxes were also prepared for 55 Muslim employees as a festive gesture.
Morowali Industrial Base: Spreading Warmth Through Unity
On March 22, the Morowali Industrial Base launched a CSR campaign titled “Spreading Love and Warmth Together.” The event provided essential supplies to 145 underprivileged households in the neighboring Bahomakmur Village, extending CNGR’s festive care to the local community. Items distributed included rice, cooking oil, flour, sugar, butter, and condensed milk, offering tangible support to villagers during Ramadan.
North Morowali Industrial Base: Diverse Initiatives for Unity
Guided by its core values of “Responsibility, Innovation, Diversity, and Win-Win,” the North Morowali Industrial Base carried out a series of Ramadan-themed public welfare initiatives through government-enterprise collaboration, livelihood assistance, and cultural integration. On March 27, a support team responded to severe flooding in Bunta Village, assisting with road repairs and relief work. The base also set up prayer rooms, and prepared energy kits with snacks, candies, and red dates, along with special Ramadan meals to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment for Indonesian employees.
South Kalimantan Industrial Base: Spreading Love through Donations
On March 21, the South Kalimantan Industrial Base held a Ramadan donation event, delivering warmth and festive blessings to local communities. The donation team visited Batu Ampar and Sungai Dua villages, providing essential goods. The village head of Batu Ampar noted that these Ramadan gift packages not only eased financial burdens but also served as a deeply meaningful festive gift.
As CNGR’s first stop in global expansion, Indonesia has become a model for the company’s multicultural integration.
